Lynn currently chairs the Asian Holistic Health and Massage Therapy Department at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1989 and has been teaching massage and bodywork since 1991.
A long-standing interest in energy medicine inspired her to devise and teach a meditative movement approach that blends breath work, qi gong, body rhythms, stretch, myofascial unwinding, and narrative reflection.
Since 2004, she has also been adjunct faculty in the Queensborough Community College Healing Arts program, instructing intermediate and advanced Western massage.
Lynn is a doctoral student in the Fielding Graduate University Media Psychology Program. Her research interests include media influence on sensorimotor experience, learning, social cognition and empathy, and self-regulation of health.
As a scholar-practitioner, she intends to expand her teaching in somatic arts and psychology, continue her research, and develop educational media and games for health promoting greater bodymindedness in society.
